Fundraising Initiatives
The Parents’ Association (PA) brings our school community together through a variety of events and activities, including Parent Morning Teas, Welcome Back to Grammar, Mother’s and Father’s Day celebrations, Trivia Night and the biennial Great Grammar Fair. We also support year-level activities and social gatherings that help families build friendships, share experiences and enjoy being part of the St Ives Prep community.

While some events focus on fundraising, many are run at cost, with the simple aim of bringing families together. All profits raised by the PA are reinvested into initiatives that directly benefit our boys and enrich their school experience. These include music scholarships, presentation books, library resources, educational programs and improvements to facilities and equipment. Recent contributions include funding towards a new Grand Piano and the Years 3–6 playground.

How funds are used is guided by the School’s priorities, identified needs and ideas from our parent community. Funding proposals are considered and approved through the PA’s established governance processes, ensuring that contributions are managed responsibly and directed towards initiatives that deliver meaningful benefits for our boys.

Every family has something valuable to contribute. Whether it's volunteering, sharing skills or ideas, supporting an event or simply coming along, every contribution helps strengthen our community. We welcome suggestions and encourage all parents to participate in ways that suit them. Together, we create lasting memories, meaningful connections and a positive school experience for our boys and their families.
